On this page you'll find lots of my favourite poems, some that I've written specially for you to read, and some that I like that I've copied from books or from the Internet.

Autumn
by
Me - aged 7

Autumn, Autumn
The cold wind blows
Swirling leaves around
The last Summer rose

Winter is coming
So wrap up warm
And go outside and
Play on the lawn

It's the last chance you'll get
Since the grass will be wet

Where Were U?
by
Nicole Anne Braganza - aged 12

Where have U been?
I've been looking for U
I looked everywhere
Didn't know what to do

I looked in the garden
I looked in my room
Just where U were hiding
I couldn't assume

And just when I wanted
To throw a big fit
I found U after T
In the alphabet!

The Snowball
by
Anonymous

I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be,
I thought I'd keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me

I made it some pyjamas
And a pillow for its head,
Then last night it ran away
But first ... it wet the bed!

The Burp
by
Anonymous

Pardon me for being rude
It was not me, it was my food
It got so lonely down below,
It just popped up to say hello

Could Have Been Worse
by
Bill Dodds

My friends have not seen London
They've never been to France,
But yesterday at break-time
They saw my underpants

I kicked the ball, my skirt flew up
And I know now what they saw
The girls all stared and blushed and laughed,
The boys said, "Oo-la-la!"

I've thought a lot about it
This conclusion I have drawn:
I'm embarrassed that they saw them
But I'm glad I had them on
